This is a very brief introduction to our company and the services we provide.

Our chief consultant, Mr Phil Smith, has a Diploma in Computer Programming Technology and is also qualified in Computer Hardware Maintenance Engineering and has decades of experience in trouble shooting computers. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional Product Specialist specialising in Windows 3.1 and Windows 95.  He is also familiar with Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux, and several other operating systems.

Our company was formed in 1992 and since then has assisted a very large number of clients with a very wide range of computing problems.

We aim to provide a prompt, friendly, efficient, English-speaking computer service for all makes of IBM compatible computer systems and to provide top-quality, reliable new computers which avoid the pitfalls and rip-offs that abound in the computer industry throughout Hong Kong.

All services at client's home or home-office premises are charged at our regular hourly rate for the class of service.  Minimum charge is one hour.  Any time after the first hour is calculated in ten minute blocks.  Any required spare parts are also charged for.

For all outlying islands requiring ferry travel, additional charges to cover the travelling time may be applied.
For overseas work, our fees are US$1,000 per day (including any days needed for travel to and from Hong Kong) plus fares plus accommodation.
There is a sliding scale of charges for corporate work which is usually quoted in advance on a case by case basis.

Our present services are as follows:

1. We supply Systems Xpress Limited brand name computer systems manufactured from top quality components for long and reliable service as network servers, business workstations, intranet servers, soho systems, educational computers and home computers.
   In pricing our computers, after adding a fair profit, we also include HK$ 3,000 worth of additional services including personalised setting up, Internet account installations, very thorough on-site testings and brief introductory tuition for the end-user. We also provide Hong Kong’s best after-sales service, even after the Warranty expires.
2. We can also source other brand-names of computers, if required. Warranty service for them is usually not so good.
3. We set up and maintain networks and office systems. Quotations are done on a case by case basis.
4. We do "House Calls" to homes or offices to solve almost any hardware or software problems.
5. Virus removal and data recovery are some of our specialties.
6. Setting up e-mail accounts and Internet access has been a major part of our business during the last few years.
7. Tuition in most aspects of computing is available.
8. We do not hesitate to refer clients to other specialists in cases where such referral is more appropriate.
9. We have many years of experience in Computer Forensics and find that area of our work to be growing rapidly.

Note that we do not specialise in Macintosh but have contacts with specialists to whom we can refer Mac users.
